Born 1952
in Hildesheim/Germany, 1971-1978 studies at the Hochschule für Musik und
Theater Hannover up to concert examination in 1978. His teachers where
K.H.Kämmmerling (Hannover) and V. Perlemuter (Paris). He is prize winner of competitions in Genf, Essen,
Bonn, Santander. Since 1983 he is professor at the Hochschule für Musik und
Theater for piano, since 1996
additionally for the subjact didactics and methodics of piano playing. His
pupils are successful on national (e.g. "Jugend musiziert",
Studentenstiftung des Deutschen Volkes) and international level (various
competitions).
