Born 1944
in Taschkent (former USSR), grown up in Odessa. Since he was 7 years old, he
learned to play piano. 1963-1968 he studied at the Conservatoire in Odessa.
1970-1977 Associate Professor at the Conservatoire in Leningrad - piano and
chamber ensemble. 1977-1983 performance work at the State Philharmony in
Tiflis.1983-1992 Associate Professor at the Conservatoire in Alma-Ata. Jouri
Koutlatch got first prizes for accompaniment, since 1995 he teaches on the
Hochschule für Musik Hannover.
