Born in
Palic/Yugoslavia, she had her first accordion lessons at the age of seven. She
went to the music grammar school in Subotica/Yugoslavia and studied accordion
in Trossingen/West Germany. Afterwards she studied music in Belgrad. While
being a student she participated successfully in national and international
accordion competitions and played in many concerts. Later she became a teacher
at a music grammar school in Subotica and since 1981 she has worked at the
"Musikschule Hannover". From 1983 to 1990 she was an assistant music
educationalist at the Hannover Academy of Music and Theatre. In 198 6 she
published an accordion school book for beginners. Since 1993 she is the leader
of the "German accordion teacher association" in Lower Saxony. Because
of her experiences as a musician and a teacher she is a frequent member of
accordion competitions juries.
