Born 1959
in Ravensburg/Germany. Since 1978 she studied piano in Freiburg i. Brsg.,
continued in Hannover (H.Leygraf, K.Engel) and as guest student at the
Mozarteum Salzburg. Additionally she visited master courses with G.Agosti and
G.Sebok. 1988 she advanced as solo pianist at the Muskihochschule Hannover.
Since then she gave concerts as soloist, German-lied-accompanist and as a
member of orchestras and ensembles in several countries. Also she made CD- and
broadcast productions with several broadcasting stations. Main points of her
works are the romantic and the contemporary piano and lied-literatures. Also
since 1992 are performances as duo piano her professions. Angelika
Schmidt-Haase is teaching at the Muskihochule Hannover and at the Justus-Liebig-Universität
Gießen.
